Seminyak Beach

It's my third time been here. Just very close to my home place. About 15 minutes by motorbike. Last sunday been my second time enjoy sunset in this beach. For me the most beautiful sunset I have even been in Bali. 5 o'clock in the evening go to the beach get a place to sit. Order a bottle of beer get some shots with my camera while enjoy sunset. What a beautiful day :)

That day the the sky is so clear and I am sure I'll get good sunset there. Seminyak beach has a clean beach not many trash like Kuta beach after rain. The coastline is very long. You can see Kuta beach from Seminyak beach. If you want you can go to Kuta beach on foot from Seminyak beach :).

Sunset view in Seminyak beach is beautiful just like when I was in Tanah Lot. Sunset is so colorfull when the sky is clear and no rain. I really love enjoy sunset view here. Just sit in a chair and enjoy a bottle of beer and look at the peoples play in the beach while sunset that create beautiful silhouette. It's feels like I want to spent my every weekend enjoy sunset at Seminyak beach.

Serangan Beach

Located on south Denpasar about 30 minutes from my place. No need boat to reach this island. Serangan beach is really quiet beach with white sand and clear water. Almost no wave reach the shore line. You can swim savely here and enjoy snorkling like I do. But don't expect to find beautiful coral reefs or great variety of fish here.

What I like being here is really quiet beach not to many peoples around like Dreamland,Kuta beach or Benoa Bay even in weekend. There are many warung along the beach. The weather is not to good when I was there with my friends. So we only stay in warung enjoy beach view and delicious pancake and a cup of coffee. Yes I like the pancake it's really delicous.You should try someday :).

On the otherside of island you can find traditional harbor with many jukungs and boats and also big boat like pinisi. And there many mangrove area in this island. You can also rent a boat or jukung for fishing here.

Serangan beach also known as a place for surfing. The wave is not to big. You have to swim quite far out to sea to get good waves.

For me enjoy beach view and swim in this beach is really fun. A pleasant and quiet atmosphere is what I am looking for when I am in a beach. Like other beach in east and south Bali is the sunrise is really beautiful. Unfortunatelly the access road to this beach is not too good. But for me it's really nice place to spend the weekend.

Tenganan Village

Before you go to Candidasa or just take a rest enjoy the view of Gili Selang at Karangasem,Bali just make a visit to old village Tenganan. Make turn left before arrive at Gili Selang from Padang Bai. Follow the road to Tenganan village and take about 15 minute from main road you'll be at the village.

No need to buy ticket to enter the village just donation for local village at the entrance. As you enter the village you'll enjoy the view of Bali old village. Many ornaments on the house,old style buildings and most of selling handicrat and traditional woven fabric. You feel like entering a thousand years ago village view. But don't be surprise if you'll see a lot of motorbike around the village. And don't expect to see topless Balinese girl in this village :).

A lot of local peoples sell handicraft along the village and each house just like handicract store selling mostly traditional woven fabric. And each house have unique gate entrance with many ornaments and statues. And you'll see a lot of rooster with colorful feather.

Good to see there is still a village like this in modern times. We'll see another Bali old village (Bali Aga) in some other time :).
