That's what i call my place on foursquare. Yes there was Sarang Macan before. It was my place in Surabaya where i spent almost 6 years of my life. But now since I stay in Bali Sarang Macan 2 become my place. I love the place here. I can enjoy sunrise and sunset from my place.Enjoy the view of rice field outside my place or sometimes enjoy firework at night launched at distance. But what I really like is enjoying the sunset from the front of my place while enjoying a cigarette.

Jimbaran Beach

Another place to enjoy sunset is In Jimbaran Beach. A lot of luxurious places a long the beach. Like Intercontinental or Four Season Resort and much more. When I was there it's midday. So hot but the view is really nice with white sand a long the beach. It's really nice place especially when the night comes.

Lake Buyan,Tamblingan and Git Git Waterfall

If you go to Bedugul don't forget to visit the twin lake Buyan and Tamblingan. Just go straight from lake Bratan to the direction of Singaraja. You'll come a cross Lake Buyan and Tamblingan. There is a place where we can see the panorama oh the twin lake from above. From this place the twin lake is very beautiful. I go there myself last sunday with my motorbike. I love the place because we can relax and enjoy the lake view from above.

If you go to Singaraja direction you'll pass Git-Git village where you can enjoy the Git-Git waterfall. Here also has twin waterfall. Campuhan and Mekalangan waterfall at the same location. But you must walk about 1KM to reach out the place. Really exhausting but you'll enjoy the waterfall view and clear water. If you like you can also swim or just enjoy the cold water from waterfall. But I think all place in Bedugul already explored. Need to go to some other places. Yeah perhaps this week :).

Besakih Temple

Today Bali hit by 6.8 and 5.6 magnitude earthquake.The first earthquake is quite big. The earthquake also felt in Surabaya. My office floor and window glass shaking and we had to run out the office leave anything behind. Some of my friend and my sister text me and ask my the situation here. Yes I am good and well here :).

Ok let's talk about my journey to Besakih temple. Actually I was going to Kintamani that day but unfortunately not enough time to go there. So I decided to go Besakih temple instead. I left from Sanur about midday and arrive at Semarapura and then continue to Besakih. We can stop by at Bukit Jambul before we go to Besakih. In Bukit Jambul we can see the panorama of most Eastern and Southern Bali. We can relax and take a rest before continue to Besakih.

Besakih temple is really the greatest temple in Bali. The mother temple of all Balinese sanctuaries. With Mount Agung panorama as a background,Besakih temple really show it's greatness. The temple area really big if you walk around and going up until the top temple area. On the top area there some handicraft shop and place to relax while enjoying the panorama of Bali. Really beautiful from up there. If you want to see Bali view from above, this is one place you are looking for.

Ulun Danu Temple

The most famous temple on Bali I mean by looking at the architecture you'll know that this temple is from Bali or Bali mascots. Surrounded by plateau and on lakeside of Bratan just perfect place for this temple. Located on Bedugul about 50km from Denpasar this place is really cool so that you can shivering on midday especially in the foggy weather like when I was in Pananjakan,Pasuruan.

Just before you go to Ulun Danu Temple and Bratan lake you can stop by at Kebun Raya Bali. Botanical garden managed by LIPI. The garden is so big so you need transport to go around the place.

Ceremonies often held in Ulun Danu temple and ometimes performing arts also held here. This temple located on lakeside Bratan. You can rent a boat or traditional boat to go around the lake. Also you can rent fishing equipment to fishing on lake. Very cheap about Rp.5000. Bedugul also known for it's agricultural fruit and vegetables especially strawberries. Don't be surprised a lot of people a long the road selling strawberries. A great place to enjoy the mountain atmosphere.

Uluwatu Beach

Uluwatu Beach,great place for surfer some peoples says it's surfers paradise. Just before Uluwatu temple entrance area there is other road heading right to Uluwatu Beach. Followed by winding road for about 30 minutes you'll be arrive at Uluwatu beach entrance. Just park your motorcycle or car outside area and then you can walk down the stairs and passing bridge.You can go straight or turn left to reach beach entrance where usually used by surfers to reach the ocean. Just becareful walk down to beach area. Last time I go there you have to walking down the wooden stairs to reach ocean entrance.

Flanked by high cliff and big rock and ocean wave here where surfers usally start paddling to reach the ocean. When you go straight from entrance area you'll see so many cafe and surf board rental all over the place. Enjoy sunny day watching the ocean with cold beer and smoking some cigarretes or waiting for sunset just perfect when you stay here. Just prefect paradise for surfers. I just want to go there again next time. Really miss this place :)

Padang-Padang Beach

While listening to Bali instrumental music in my PC let talk about my travel to Padang-Padang beach. Padang-padang beach located on Labuhan Sait very close to Dreamland Beach. At low tide you can see Dreamland beach from Padang-Padang beach. You can reach from main road to Uluwatu temple next to Dreamland Beach about 15 minutes with motorcycle or car. Also there is a shortcut to Dreamland beach from Labuhan Sait road.

Once you arrive at parking area before bridge and you can walk to reach the beach. Beach entrance is unique as you walk on a cave. After that you can see white sand beach with nice wave and a lot of surfer and tourists enjoy sunbathing. This beach is unique. Flanked by high cliff and big rock. Nice place to surf and sunbathing also enjoy sunset. Here you can enjoy rujak on tradisional warung. From bridge down to parking area you can also enjoy beach view. This is beautiful beach and unique beach and must on your list while visiting Bali. While here you can also visit Bluepoint,about 15 minutes from padang-padang. Here some of my photos. Dreamland Beach

On your way back from Uluwatu temple you can go to Dreamland beach.Nice beach,white sand and also great place for surfer. Now Dreamland beach changed to New Kuta Beach but personally I like Dreamland beach name. You can go to the beach from Pecatu Resort entrance.About 15 minutes from entrance gate you will arrive at parking area and then walk from there to the beach. A lot of local tourist go to this beach like Kuta Beach especially on weekend. I like this place but sometimes too much people is not what i am looking for. I love quiet beach with crystal clear water and enjoy myself lie down on white sand. Oh it's heaven.... :D

What a beautiful place. One of sacred Temple in Bali. You can see beautiful sunset from here also enjoy Kecak Dance fire on the evening. Love this place, so beautiful and peace. Beware of monkey here. Waiting next occasion to go here enjoy sunset :).

I Am In Bali

It has been 4 month since I left Surabaya and move to Bali for new job. I've been go to many places ever since but never have a chance to wrote about it.
